Lunas Visualization Privacy Policy

Lunas Visualization Inc. operates and may operate other websites. It is Lunas’ policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating our websites. This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) describes how information and data is collected from you when you use this online website, its features or functionality (“Service”, collectively the “Services”) and how Lunas Visualization Inc., (“Lunas”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), uses, shares and manages your information and data. By using any of the Services, you consent to the collection, use, processing, and sharing of your information as described in this Privacy Policy.

Our Privacy Principles

We are committed to recognizing and respecting your privacy rights by keeping you informed and processing and protecting your personal data in compliance with applicable law. Effective May 25th, 2018, if you are from the European Economic Area (“EEA”), our processing of your personal data will comply with the Regulations (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016, known as the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”).

Information that We Collect from You

  1. Personal Data You Directly and Voluntarily Provide to Us
  2. Like most website operators, Lunas collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. Lunas’ purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how Lunas’ visitors use its website. From time to time, Lunas may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.
Lunas also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for logged in users and for users leaving comments on blogs/sites. Lunas only discloses logged in user and commenter IP addresses under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information as described below, except that commenter IP addresses and email addresses are visible and disclosed to the administrators of the blog/site where the comment was left.
Certain visitors to Lunas ‘ websites choose to interact with Lunas in ways that require Lunas to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that Lunas gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. Those who engage in transactions with Lunas are asked to provide additional information, including as necessary the personal and financial information required to process those transactions. In each case, Lunas collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with Lunas. Lunas does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below. And visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain website-related activities.
We may collect and process some or all of the following information you make available to us if you fill in the contact form or use the Services, such as your:

    • Name
    • Email Address
    • Mailing Address
    • Phone Number
    • Other Registration Information
    • Customer Support or Technical Information you provide when you contact us with questions about your use of the Services
  3. Analytics Services
  4. Lunas may collect aggregated anonymous statistics about the behavior of visitors to its websites. We may work with third party analytics companies to help us understand how the Services are being used, such as data collection, reporting, ad response measurement, website analytics, and to assist with delivery of relevant marketing messages and advertisements.
We may use Google Analytics, an analytics service provided by Google, or Yandex Metrika, an analytics service provided by Yandex Ltd., or other third party analytics services providers (“Analytics Services”) to collect information about your use of the Services. These Analytics Services may collect information about the content you view and your system information and geographic information. The information generated by the Analytics Services about your use of the Services will be transmitted to and stored by the Analytics Services. The information collected by the Analytics Services allows us to analyze your use of the Services.
We encourage you to review your device and Services settings to ensure they are consistent with your preferences, including with respect to the collection and use of information. You may be able to stop further collection of certain data by the Services by updating your applicable device settings, or you may uninstall the Services. In addition, you may choose not to share your location details by adjusting your mobile device’s location services settings. For instructions on changing the relevant settings, please contact your service provider/carrier or device manufacturer.

  5. Cookies
  6. A cookie is a string of information that a website stores on a visitor’s computer, and that the visitor’s browser provides to the website each time the visitor returns. Lunas uses cookies to help Lunas identify and track visitors, their usage of Lunas website, and their website access preferences. Lunas visitors who do not wish to have cookies placed on their computers should set their browsers to refuse cookies before using Lunas’ websites, with the drawback that certain features of Lunas’ websites may not function properly without the aid of cookies.
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

  7. Embedded Content From Other Websites
  8. Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website. These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

  9. Social Media and Sharing
  10. The Services may use social networking or “share functionality” or may contain links to third-party social media sites or applications that are not owned or controlled by us. We also may allow you to use social media sites or applications to leverage your existing social media site or application accounts to access features of the Services. Your use of these features may result in the collection or sharing of information about you by these sites or applications, depending on the feature.
We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, any share functionality or the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party site or application. We encourage you to review the privacy policies and settings on the social media sites or applications with which you interact to make sure you understand the information that may be collected, used, and shared by those sites. You are subject to the policies of those third parties when and where applicable.

  11. User Comments
  12. When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
